APPROACH

As a teacher, my ultimate objective is to equip each student I encounter with tools that they can skillfully utilize to learn and enjoy playing music on the piano.

I am to provide a comprehensive education in piano that focuses on advancement in a student’s overall ability to read and play music, understand and apply basic music theory, memorize, and perform.

Beginner, intermediate, and advancing students of all ages and abilities are welcome, and enrollment is limited to aid in the effort of offering instruction that is highly individualized.

No matter the age, every student should have an interest in piano, a willingness to learn, and the support that is necessary to succeed. Lessons should ultimately be a positive, growing experience for both student and teacher.

I offer private piano instruction because I feel called and compelled to share my knowledge and experiences learning and playing piano with others who can benefit from them.

Piano lessons are capable of developing skills that are beneficial in all aspects of life, and an investment in lessons can provide you with a skill that can last a lifetime.
